Yard is hiring a Lending Associate for our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who already has some exposure to lending and wants to build a long-term career as a Lending Specialist or Mortgage Broker.

The Opportunity

n

You'll work alongside experienced lenders and gain hands‐on exposure across the entire lending lifecycle, from initial customer conversations through to credit assessment and settlement.

n

Over time, you'll develop the skills, knowledge and commercial judgement required to progress into a Lending Specialist or Broker role within Yard.

n

This is a full‐time, on‐site role.

Ideal Background

This role suits someone who has already had some exposure to lending, such as working:

- Broker support or loan processing
n
- Mortgage brokerage assistant
n




- Bank branch or lending contact centre
n
- Credit analyst or lending assistant
n

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Speaking with customers to understand their finance needs
n
- Assisting with loan scenarios and lending solutions
n
- Reviewing borrower documents and financial information
n
- Supporting loan applications from enquiry through to settlement
n
- Working with lenders, brokers and internal teams to progress deals
n
- Learning lending policy, serviceability and credit fundamentals
n
- Building strong relationships with customers and referral partners
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 1+ years experience in lending, banking or mortgage broking support
n
- Exposure to home loans, lending policy or loan applications
n
- Solid attention to detail and organisation skills
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
n
- Genuine interest in building a career in lending
n

n

Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain it) is highly regarded.
