The Role
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on I.T. Support professional who is an avid problem solver and enjoys supporting people. You will provide proactive second-level desktop support and play a key role in ensuring technology environments run smoothly. You will also participate in a national on-call roster for after-hours support.
n
Core Responsibilities
n
n
- Providing frontline technical support face-to-face, over the phone, and via ServiceNow - managing incidents and requests from start to finish
n
- Taking ownership of support tickets and delivering timely resolutions in line with service levels
n
- Managing end-user technology assets including device allocation, tracking,
and lifecycle management
n
- Delivering Audio Visual (AV) support - setting up and testing equipment for meetings and events, with a focus on client floor requirements
n
- Providing real-time support during client meetings and events to ensure a seamless experience
n
- Collaborating with infrastructure and broader IT teams on AV solutions and service improvements
n
n
Key Requirements
n
n
- Experience supporting a Windows desktop environment (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, remote access, and peripherals)
n
- Knowledge of VoIP, mobile, and internet technologies
n
- Familiarity with network and server systems, including switches, routers, and patch panels
n
- Understanding of ITIL principles and Change Management processes
n
- Strong communication skills - you can explain technical concepts in plain language
n
- A proactive, self-starting approach with excellent problem-solving ability
n
- The ability to work calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities
n
- A genuine desire to help people and deliver excellent customer service
n
n
