Job Description

Appealing and new opportunities available with Beyond Able Care. We are currently hiring for multiple roles in disability support in the Sydney and Western Sydney area. Looking for bright and capable individuals, who are motivated and reliable with experience in the industry. Looking for immediate start.

Supporting individuals over a wide age range and disabilities, we hope to find the right people who are compatible with our participants and committed to a top level of support.

n

We are currently looking for support workers in Western Sydney and Sydney area:

n

Variety of shifts ranging from 2 - 8 hours

n

Inactive overnight shift availability is desired

n

Must have own car and drivers licence

n

Must be reliable and experienced.

n

Flexible with friendly approach

n

Looking for Casual, PPT and PFT (after a successful probation period)

n

Monday - Friday and potential weekends

n

Fixed Shifts

What we are looking for?

We are looking for passionate and committed Disability Support Workers to join our organisation. We are keen to speak to people that are interested in establishing and progressing their career within the agile disability sector.



We have a great opportunity to support our participants to live within their own homes, in group home settings and within the community. You will support our participants to increase their daily living skills, life skills and reach their individual goals. Our requirements are:

n

Understanding & commitment to the principles of duty of care, and rights to privacy and confidentiality.

n

Punctuality

n

Reliability

n

Comfortable to use own vehicle for transportation services (travel allowances are available)

n

Knowledge & experience supporting participants with disability or mental health.

n

We are responsible for delivering a range of support to our participants which include:

n

Meal preparation and assisting with eating & drinking

n

Enabling mobility, including moving & handling transfers, hoists, and wheelchairs.

n

Social Support & transportation

n

Respite Care

n

Dementia Care

n

Support with Behaviours of Concern

n

Support and respect participants routine

n

Reporting & recording as per company's procedure at all times,

n

Adhering to company's policies & procedures

n

Supporting our participants to make decisions & have choices

n

Supporting our participants achieve their goals

n

Our participants come first, so treating them like your own family member and have factor of care is our number one priority.

n

To be successful you must have (minimum requirements):

n

Current Police Check

n

NSW Driver's Licence

n

Own Vehicle & Comprehensive Insurance

n

Current First Aid (within 3 years)

n

CPR (within 12 months)

n

Working with Children Check

n

NDIS worker screening check (NDISWC)

n

Certificate of completion NDIS worker orientation online training

n

Certificate of completion Covid-19 Infection control online training

n

Minimum 6-month experience supporting clients in a home or community care setting

n

Flexibility for rostering
