AutoTestis Australian Made and Owned manufacturer, producing high quality instrumentation for the automotive roadworthy equipment manufacture in Australia. As a leader in the industry we are seeking to fill a position in the Production Assembly and Production Testing area.

Suitable candidates should preferably have experience in the following areas:

n

Experience with Assembly of Electronic Instruments.

n

Calibration and measurement Technologies.

n

Ability to read Schematics and PCB files.

n

Experience in hand soldering of PCBs.

n

PCB Soldering skills of SMD components down to 0402, BGA, QFP, and other small pitch packages

n

Electronics and Mechanical parts recognition based on Product Bill of Materials.

n

Valuable Documentation and Communication skills.

n

Other Skills Requirements:

n

Excellent Spoken and Written English is essential.

n

Familiarity with electronics and electronic equipment.

n

Be able to work with Hand tools and power tools in the assembly and disassembly of equipment.

n

Follow and document test procedures to maintain and ensure Quality assurance.

n

Be able to maintain a clean and organised workspace.

n





Electronics Technician or Electronics Assembly Experience are preferred.

n

Experience with MS Office applications - Word, Excel and Outlook

n

Self-motivated, Practical Problem Solver.

n

Your duties will include:

n

n
- Carry out repair and preventative maintenance, service actions and other routine tasks according to customer requests and contract obligations
n
- Ensure high standard of service, skill, ability with current products, and efficiency through training
n
- Work with controller & dispatcher to ensure efficient scheduling of works
n

n

TAFE Course or Diploma in Electronics or associated discipline is essential, and certification in relevant technologies would be advantageous.

n

KnowledgeofAutomotive instrumentation would be highly regarded, along with experience in a similar role.

n

Experience with the repair and calibration of Scientificand other electronic measurement systems is desirable.

n

Current driver's licence, is an advantage.

n

The officeis close to the tram and train, has free on street parking.
