Job Description

As the Team Leader at Suprima Bakeries Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team on the packing line during the night shift. This full-time position is based in Minto, NSW and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing

- Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of production staff during the night shift to ensure efficient and high-quality operations
n
- Monitor production targets and quality standards, implementing corrective measures as needed
n
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment
n
- Identify training needs and facilitate the development of team members' skills and capabilities
n
- Liaise with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure smooth operations
n
- Implement and enforce all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
n
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and workflows
n

What we're looking for

- Significant experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role
n
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
n




- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency

- Proficiency in operational planning, scheduling, and inventory management
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions
n
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
n
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in production, manufacturing, or a related field
