We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Work Placement Officer to join our Employer Engagement team. This is a wide-ranging role where no two days are the same. You'll work with employers across the region to create meaningful work placement opportunities, helping our students gain the real-world experience they need to launch successful careers.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Developing relationships with local employers to source high-quality work placement opportunities.
n
- Matching students with placements that align with their career aspirations and course of study.
n
- Building long-term partnerships with employers and acting as their key point of contact.
n
- Preparing students for the workplace through employability sessions and pre-placement support.
n




- Visiting students during their placements to monitor progress and provide ongoing support to both the student and employer.
n
- Working closely with curriculum teams to ensure placements meet learning objectives and industry requirements.
n
- Promoting the benefits of work placements to employers and supporting the growth of our employer network.

You will have:

n

n
- GCSEs in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
n
- A relevant Level 3 qualification or relevant experience
n
- An understanding of Health and Safety principles, or be willing to undertake appropriate training
n

n

The role of the Work Placement Officer is varied, and every day is different with new challenges. You will get to meet and support students and employers as you co-ordinate the work placement process.
