Job Description

Mercor is hiring experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models, in partnership with a leading AI lab.

You will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres and rate it against detailed quality standards, working in Telugu and English.

Key Responsibilities

- Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality
n
- Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics
n
- Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
n

Requirements

n

n
- Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu, and the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
n
- 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer
n




- Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
n

n

Nice to have

n

n
- Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition
n
- Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work
n
- Broad familiarity with contemporary Telugu genres, sub-genres, and artists
n

Project Timeline

- Commitment: versatile. Most experts work around 20 hours per week; there is no cap
