Fab Kitchens is an established and growing cabinetry and joinery business specialising in custom kitchens, cabinetry and high-end joinery. We have a busy production environment and are looking for an experienced cabinet maker to become a key part of our manufacturing team.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
You'll be involved in taking cabinetry from components through to finished product, working alongside our production and assembly teams.
n
Your day-to-day work will include:
n
n
- Manufacturing and assembling custom cabinetry
n
- Reading and interpreting detailed cabinetry drawings
n
- Building kitchens, vanities, wardrobes and custom joinery
n
- Installing hinges, drawer runners, handles and other hardware
n
- Working with a range of boards, materials and finishes
n
- Constructing fillers, panels, bulkheads, fascias and other custom components
n
- Checking your work for accuracy and quality
n
- Identifying and resolving issues before jobs leave the factory
n
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
n
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
n
- Working as part of a team to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker, not someone who needs to be shown the basics.
n
You'll ideally be someone who:
n
n
- Has several years' experience in cabinet making
n
- Can confidently read and work from detailed drawings
n
- Has excellent attention to detail
n
- Understands cabinetry construction from start to finish
n
- Can work independently without constant supervision
n
- Takes genuine pride in their workmanship
n
- Works efficiently without compromising quality
n
- Is reliable, punctual and takes ownership of their work
n
- Has a positive attitude and works well within a team
n
- Can identify problems and come up with practical solutions
n
- Understands the importance of getting things right the first time
n
n
Experience With Any of the Following Is a Bonus
n
n
- CNC machinery
n
- Edgebanding
n
- High-volume cabinetry production
n
- Custom kitchens and architectural joinery
n
- Polyurethane cabinetry
n
- Detailed or high-end joinery
n
- Hardware installation and adjustment
n
n
