Job Description

SDN Goulburn is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Early Childhood Teacher, responsible for 4-5 year old Preschool room. Ther role requires passion for quality education, child safety and great team player with the relevant qualification and work experience.

About The Role

n

The primary responsibility of this position will include:

n

n
- Lead the nominated room and responsible for the overall room management, including the children, program, staff safety and setting identifying and supporting staff development through individual and team assessment
n
- Monitor and document children's development and progress through a diverse range of methods that reflect the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework
n
- Ensuring routines are being followed and run smoothly and responsible for the direction of other staff within the group, including allocation of room duties.

About You

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and care with Nesa accreditation, or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (desirable) with Nesa accreditation
n
- Open to fresh Early Childhood Teacher Graduates with Nesa accreditation
n
- Experience in completing a Child's documentation and adding it to the educational program.
n
- Can work effectively within a team and be able to support the room leader as you will be working among part-time staff members.
n
- Flexible to work in an 8-hour shift as it is a fortnight rotating roster.
n
- Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
n
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
n
- Previous experience in an early childhood education setting (desirable)
n
- Excellent relationship building skills
n
- Experience working with children with additional support needs and behavior (desirable)
n
- Quick learner and able to pick up the responsibilities quickly
n
