Our culinary team is growing, and we're looking for skilled Chinese cuisine trained Chefs to join our team.
n
What You'll Do
n
In this role, you will play a key part in preparing and producing high-quality meals for airline customers. Responsibilities include:
n
n
- Preparing and cooking food items to approved specifications, recipes and production schedules
n
- Ensuring timely production and consistent quality across all dishes
n
- Monitoring ingredients and food items to minimise waste and spoilage
n
- Maintaining clean, protected and organised food preparation areas
n
- Supervising Catering Assistants and junior team members in your section
n
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP, sanitation and food safety standards
n
- Promoting and contributing to a solid safety-first culture
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- Chinese cuisine experience
n
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
n
- Experience in bulk cooking, high-volume kitchens, or food manufacturing (highly regarded)
n
- Strong communication skills
n
- Ability to work 38 hours per week across a 7-day rotating roster (morning/afternoon shifts, weekends & public holidays)
n
- A positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and safety
n
- Full Australian working rights (required)
