The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, maintaining and repairing residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment.

- Read drawings and specifications and determine installation requirements;
n
- Install refrigeration pipework, mounting brackets and system components;
n
- Install, commission, service, maintain and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems;
n
- Conduct pressure and leak testing, evacuation and refrigerant charging within the scope of the licences held;
n
- Diagnose faults and repair or replace defective components;
n
- Complete preventative maintenance, warranty work and service reports; and
n
- Ensure all work complies with applicable safety requirements, Australian Standards and licence conditions.

About the Candidate

n

n




- A relevant trade qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration, such as an AQF Certificate III or an equivalent overseas trade qualification;
n
- Relevant experience installing, servicing and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems;
n
- A current Australian Refrigerant Handling Licence, or evidence that you are progressing through a recognised Australian skills-recognition or licensing pathway;
n
- A current driver licence valid in Queensland;
n
- A current White Card, or the ability to obtain one;
n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; and
n
- Positive communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
