We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. You'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to utilize your skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Maintain and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment and site infrastructure, following preventative maintenance schedules.
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on automated equipment.
n
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency and productivity.
n




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, R&D;, Engineering) on projects involving new equipment design and installation.
n
- Ensure all work complies with company health and safety policies.
n

n

What you'll bring:

n

n
- Certificate III – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and machining)
n
- Proven experience in a food manufacturing or related industry (essential)
n
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with pneumatics (essential)
n
- Ability to weld (TIG and MIG) and carry out minor fabrication work
n
- Experience with automated plant and mechanical machine timing
n
- Experience with packaging equipment (Case packers/Thermoformers/Conveyors) is highly desirable.
n
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
n
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
n

n

Desirable (but not essential):

- D Class Electrical License
n
- SAP and Microsoft Office experience
n

n
