Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars Oceania (MITO) is one of the largest providers of Casing, Tubing and Linepipe for the Oil & Gas Industry in the Oceania region. Job Description
n
The role is permanent full-time, 41 hours per week, 9-day fortnight (RDO every second Friday).
n
Key Duties & Responsibilities
n
n
- Manufacturing products to specification using a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuringproduction output as a team is maximised.
n
- Measuring, examining and testing completed products to detect defects and ensure conformance tospecifications.
n
- Notifying the Manufacturing Managerof any potential interruptions to production i.e., breakdowns with urgency.
n
- Carrying out basic repairs to machinery.
n
- Accurately completing production and QA documentation.
n
- Undertaking maintenance on equipment and machines.
n
- Completing scheduled tasks as assigned by Manufacturing Manager.
n
- Ensuring routine maintenance is carried out correctly and to schedule.
n
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, ensuring work areas are organised, tidy and free fromhazards.
n
- Operating all machinery and equipment in line with WHS guidelines to prevent any potential injury orunsafe behaviour.
n
- Ensuring that all workshop equipment and tooling is maintained and in accordance with legislativerequirements and in a safe, organised and efficient state.
n
- Notifying management of any potential safety risks caused by faulty equipment.
n
- Performing regular quality checks on products.
n

- Valid driver'slicense.

- Experience working in manufacturing or similar blue-collar environment.
