Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Happy Peeps is seeking lively, dedicated, and reliable Support Workers to support individuals living with psychosocial disabilities and mental health challenges.

n

This is an ongoing role with shifts available between 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, offering flexibility and meaningful work every day.

n

- Immediate Start with Solid and Consistent Work Hours: Looking for someone who is available to work 8 + hours per week, Monday to Friday available daily and Saturday & Sunday on occasions.

Your Role

n

n
- Support participants to develop and maintain healthy habits, daily living skills, and assist with light household tasks in line with their NDIS goals
n
- Work alongside participants to build independence and support them to work towards their individual goalsle
n
- Assist participants to access the community, including shopping, meal preparation, and community participation activities
n
- Support participants to attend medical and allied health appointments as required
n
- Provide flexible, person-centred support by meeting participants where they are at and responding to their individual needs
n
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where participants feel supported, empowered, and valued
n
- Be a positive, reliable, and encouraging presence in each participant's day
n

What We're Looking For:

- Requirements:n n
- Blue Card(or willing to obtain)
n




- Yellow Card (Disability Worker Screening Clearance)(or willing to obtain)
n
- Queensland Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
n
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
n
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
n
- NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)
n
- Infection Control Certificate (or willing to obtain)
n
- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
n

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Friendly, respectful, and professional demeanour
n
- Mature approach to work with a clear understanding of professional boundaries

- Ability to build rapport while maintaining appropriate workplace standards
