Support Farmers to Turn Knowledge into Action
n
Pinion Advisory is seeking an Agricultural Extension Project Coordinator to help deliver extension and adoption programs that turn research, innovation and technical expertise into practical on-farm outcomes.
n
Working within our Farm Business Services team, you'll connect researchers, industry experts and producers, translating complex information into practical actions that support better decision-making and drive practice change across Australian agriculture. You'll coordinate events, develop extension resources and support the adoption of new ideas and technologies on farm.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Coordinate agricultural extension and adoption projects from planning through evaluation.
n
- Organise and support workshops, field days, webinars, training programs, and stakeholder events.
n
- Develop extension resources including fact sheets, case studies, reports, presentations, videos, and digital content.
n
- Build relationships with producers, industry groups, government agencies, researchers, and project partners.
n
- Translate technical information into practical, producer-focused communications and learning materials.
n
- Manage multiple project deliverables, stakeholder groups, timelines, and events simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
n
- Contribute to funding proposals, tenders, and opportunities to grow Pinion's extension and adoption services.
n

Qualifications & Experience
n
What You'll Need for This Position
n
n
- Degree in Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Rural Science, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Agricultural Communications, or a related discipline.
n
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, project delivery, communications, agricultural extension, adoption, or agricultural consulting.
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel regionally as required.
n
n
Skills & Competencies

- Strong project management, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex information into practical, engaging content.
n
- Digital proficiency across Microsoft 365, CRM systems, webinar platforms and project management tools.
n
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver practical outcomes.
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- 2+ years' experience in agricultural extension, adoption, industry development or agricultural consulting.
n
- Experience facilitating workshops, field days or producer engagement activities.
n
- Graphic design, multimedia or content creation experience.
n
n
