Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, mature and self-motivated Trade Desk Assistant to join our team.

This is a full-time Monday to Friday position working within a busy trade and industrial supply environment.

n

Start times are flexible depending on operational requirements, with some days commencing at 7:00am and other days at approximately 8:30am.

n

About the Role

n

The Trade Desk Assistant will be responsible for assisting trade customers, processing orders, preparing products, maintaining the trade counter and supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and showroom.

n

The position would suit someone who enjoys dealing with customers, is organised, hands-on and able to work independently without requiring constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- - Serving trade customers at the counter and over the phone
n
- - Processing sales, orders and customer enquiries
n
- - Preparing and picking customer orders
n
- - Assisting customers with product selection
n
- - Learning our range of epoxy coatings, concrete preparation equipment, tools and accessories
n
- - Maintaining a clean and skilled trade counter and showroom
n
- - Receiving and putting away stock
n
- - Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
n
- - Following up customer enquiries and orders
n




- - Working closely with the sales and management team
n
- - Helping ensure customers receive quick, professional and friendly service
n

What We Are Looking For

- - Reliable and punctual

- - Mature and self-managed

- - Friendly and confident dealing with customers

- - Comfortable working in a hands-on trade environment

- - Organised and able to prioritise tasks
n
- - Willing to learn about technical products
n
- - Physically capable of assisting with stock and customer orders
n
- - Able to work well as part of a team while also working independently
n

Previous experience in a trade counter, hardware store, industrial supply business, warehouse, construction supply or similar environment would be highly regarded.

n

A current Australian driver's licence is preferred.

n

Hours

n

Full-time – Monday to Friday

n

Working hours will vary depending on business requirements. Some days may commence at approximately 7:00am, while other days may commence around 8:30am.

n

$75,000 per annum + Superannuation

n
