Workfast is currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join an established industrial construction contractor on a project in Townsville.

You will be working as part of a team fabricating and assembling steel reinforcement cages, with a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
The initial requirement is expected to be 2–3 weeks, however, there may be opportunities for ongoing work for the right candidates based on performance, reliability and upcoming project requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience working as a Steel Fixer
- Experience fabricating and assembling steel reinforcement cages
- Ability to read and follow drawings, plans and work instructions
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
- Reliable transport and solid attendance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Construction White Card
