Job Description

Narellan Town Centre is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of marketing campaigns, Centre communications, retailer engagement and day-to-day marketing activities and administration.

The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in promoting Narellan Town Centre as South-West Sydney's leading retail and community destination, while gaining hands‐on experience across marketing, events, social media, content creation and communications.

n

Permanent part-time, in-office role, at Narellan location. 2 - 3 days per week, preferable days from Tuesday - Friday. Potential opportunity to progress into a full-time position in the future.

Key Responsibilities

n

Maintain and update the Narellan Town Centre website

n

Assist with social media content creation using Canva and other design programs, as well as scheduling and publishing content across all platforms

n

Assist the Marketing Team with the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions and Centre initiatives

n

Assist with the coordination and delivery of Centre events and activations, including occasional evening and weekend work as required

n

Communicate with suppliers, contractors and retailers

n

Assist in ensuring marketing displays, signage and promotional materials throughout the Centre are maintained to a high standard

n

Provide general administrative support to the Centre Management Team

n

About You

n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

n

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

n

Experience using Canva or similar design software

n





Proficiency in Microsoft Office

n

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

n

Friendly, professional and customer‐focused approach

n

Qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field (or currently studying)

n

Professional presentation including wearing a uniform provided

n

Desirable but not required

n

Previous experience in marketing, administration, retail or customer service

n

Experience using website content management systems (CMS)

n

Experience with Meta Business Suite or social media scheduling platforms

n

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign)
