About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Store Supervisor to join the Pretzel Australia team in Cannington, WA. This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic Bakery/Cafe/Fast Food environment and make a real impact on our store's success. As Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with your team on the shop floor, driving sales and maintaining the high standards Pretzel Australia is known for.

Key responsibilities
n
Supervise and manage store staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and development
n
Ensure the store meets all operational standards, including cleanliness, merchandising and stock management
n
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets and drive business growth
n
Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a skilled and timely manner
n
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
n
Manage cash handling procedures and reconcile till systems
n
Conduct regular stock takes and manage inventory levels to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
n
Communicate effectively with head office and implement company initiatives and promotions
n
Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
n
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product displays are attractive and well-organised
n
What we're looking for
n
Experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in a fast-paced food or beverage environment
n
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
n
Knowledge of retail operations, stock management and point-of-sale systems
n
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
n
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
n
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
n
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is desirable
n
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure
