About The Opportunity
n
Programmed Electrical Technologies department currently has a great opportunity for an Electrical & Communications Tradesperson to join our team in Artarmon, Sydney. This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that provides data installation on a wide range of customer sites. Working on predominantly government & defence projects, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced communication systems.

Nature of position: Full-Time
n
Location: Artarmon, Sydney
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Fibre optic cabling installation, termination, splicing and testing
n
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades to enhance performance.
n
- Collaborate with clients to understand their communication needs and provide tailored solutions.
n
- Document all installation, maintenance,
and repair activities accurately and comprehensively.
n
- Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations in all tasks.
n
n
About You
n
To join our team, you will have an open registration cabling license with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you will have
n
n
- A Certificate III in telecommunications is desirable
n
- Experience in defence or commercial and industrial works is desirable but not essential
n
- Defence clearance or ability to obtain is essential
n
- Current driver's license
n
- Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace
n
- Execute work that is of a high standard
n
- A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health and safety management systems.
