An opportunity has become available for a Casual Operations Support team member to join our team at our Burton, SA depot. We are searching for a focused individual who prides themselves on their accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency, and who brings a positive, can-do attitude to work every day. Prior experience in the transport industry is preferred but not essential.
Your primary role will be supporting the day-to-day running of the depot through accurate data entry, paperwork processing, and preparing jobs for invoicing, while providing friendly and professional customer service.
About the Role
Reporting to the Burton Administration Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Data entry of 24-hour run sheets and depot employee hours
- Sorting, scanning, and filing of bulk consignments and driver paperwork
- Checking and correcting driver allocations in our Transport Management System (TMS)
- Timing and dating legs and updating delivered quantities to prepare jobs for invoicing
- Clearing reports for daily close-off
- Following up drivers for missing paperwork
- Scanning paperwork to customers within required deadlines
- Accurate archiving of all documentation
- Delivering outstanding customer service as a frontline point of contact,
including answering phones and directing calls
- Supporting other team members and departments as required
About You
You're organised, accurate, and take pride in getting things right the first time. You'll bring:
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service
- Excellent administrative abilities, including sound experience with Microsoft programs
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
- The ability to plan, prioritise, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with drivers, staff, and customers
- A reliable, adaptable, and team-orientated approach to work
- Experience in a similar role within the transport industry, or with invoicing and payroll data entry, will be highly regarded

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
