Warehouse Stores & Operations Officer

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Stores & Operations Officer to join our team at Dandenong South.

n

This is a hands-on warehouse role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working as part of a team. You will play an significant role in ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day movement and control of stock within the warehouse, including receiving incoming goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing goods for dispatch.

n

You will also contribute to maintaining a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment and work within our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Receive and safely unload supplier deliveries and incoming stock transfers
n
- Check incoming goods against delivery documentation and report discrepancies or damaged stock
n
- Unpack and process incoming containers efficiently
n
- Ensure stock is correctly labelled, identified and stored
n
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
n
- Check orders prior to dispatch and complete required documentation
n
- Coordinate with transport providers to support timely deliveries
n
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual stocktakes
n
- Investigate and report stock variances
n




- Maintain accurate inventory records and organised warehouse locations
n
- Follow stock rotation requirements, including FIFO where applicable
n
- Follow warehouse procedures, work instructions and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
n
- Report non-conformances and assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
n
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely, where appropriately licensed
n
- Report hazards, incidents and unsafe practices
n
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse and broader operations team
n
- Meet daily operational and productivity requirements
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment
n
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right
n
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
n
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
- Has valuable organisational and time management skills
n
- Is physically capable of performing the requirements of a warehouse role
n
- Understands the importance of workplace safety and following procedures
n
- Has experience with inventory control, picking and dispatch
n
- Holds a current forklift licence.
n
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to contribute to improving warehouse operations
n
