Community Junction Children's Services are seeking a passionate and motivated Educator to join our motivated team at our St Marys OOSH Service location.
n
Located on the grounds of St Marys Public School, our service provides on-site Before School Care and After School Care for children in Years K-6. We are currently recruiting for:
n
n
- Permanent Part-Time Educator - minimum 21 hours per week
n
n

About the Role
n
As an OOSH Educator, you will work collaboratively with your team to deliver engaging experiences that reflect children's interests, strengths and ideas while supporting their wellbeing, independence and sense of belonging.
n
This is a set-roster position requiring availability for a minimum of 21 hours within our operating hours of 6:15am-8:45am and 2:30pm-6:15pm, in addition to team reflection and programming hours weekly on Mondays. Successful applicants must be willing to work split shifts.
n

Community Junction's St Marys OOSH service operates on the grounds of St Marys Public School in a spacious stand alone OOSH building, offering before school, after school, and vacation care services. Essential Criteria
n
n
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care,
School Age Education and Care, or approved equivalent (minimum)
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with children
n
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Ability to work split shifts Monday to Friday
n
- Demonstrated commitment to child safety and wellbeing
n
- Passion for listening to and advocating for children's voices
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
n
Desirable Criteria
n
n
- Experience supporting children with additional needs
n
- Experience working within OOSH services
n
- Knowledge of My Time Our Place and the National Quality Framework
n
n
