We are currently seeking an experienced full-time carpenter to join our construction team based in Rockhampton.

Annual salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 + superannuation

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Building wall frames, partitions, floors, raised platforms, counters, cabinets, shelving, joinery and temporary and permanent display structures
n
- Interpreting drawings to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation techniques
n
- Cutting and assembling timber and other materials
n
- Constructing and installing of joinery, wall paneling,



counters, display units, and integrated signage features
n
- Assembling or dismantling formwork
n
- Assessing and making corrective adjustments to existing fittings
n
- Evaluating materials and costs for replacing old equipment and installing new components
n
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
n
- Performing accurate calculations and measurements for assembling partitions
n

Skills and qualifications

n

n
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the field
n
- Relevant AQF Certificate III or equivalent
n
- Driver's License
n
- Ability to use carpentry tools and handling small components requiring manual dexterity
n
- Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
n
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques
n
- Experience working with power tools
n
- Ability to work efficiently within a team in high-rise environments
n
