About the Role

n

The Senior Console Operator plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the East Corrimal store.

n

This position is a combination of customer service, console operations, administration and leadership support. Working closely with the Retail Store Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure the store runs smoothly, customers receive a high level of service and operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

n

This is a Tuesday to Saturday position in the afternoons/ evenings and would suit someone with strong fuel retail experience who is confident taking on additional responsibility and supporting other team members when required.

Key Duties

n

Reporting to the Retail Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

n

- Performing Console Operator duties, including customer service, processing sales transactions, upselling and maintaining store presentation
n
- Supporting inventory management and stock control processes
n
- Assisting with last-minute roster changes where required
n
- Completing filing,



store administration and general paperwork
n
- Supporting Retail Store Manager tasks in their absence, including reconciliations, ordering, timesheet approvals and other operational tasks
n
- Assisting with training current store employees and making recommendations for sign-off
n
- Managing the site email inbox and responding to store-related enquiries
n
- Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and customer service
n
- Any other duties as reasonably required
n

What You Will Bring to Park

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Console Operator, Senior Console Operator or Store Manager within the fuel industry, highly regarded but not needed.
n
- Previous food preparation and/or fuel retail experience, highly regarded
n
- Strong customer service skills and a professional presentation
n
- Confidence supporting and guiding other team members
n
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
n
- Good attention to detail, particularly with cash handling, stock, administration and safety procedures
n
- A reliable, self-motivated and accountable approach to work
n
- The ability to adapt and remain calm in a fast-paced retail environment
n
- A positive and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to learn and support the wider team
n
