Our Urgent Care service provides accessible care for patients who require prompt medical attention but do not need emergency department treatment.

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Urgent Care team and play an significant role in delivering safe, high-quality and patient-centred care.
n
About the Role
n
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, conduct patient triage and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners.
n
You'll work in a fast-paced clinical environment where you can further develop your skills and gain valuable experience across wound care, plastering and assisting with clinical procedures.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Conduct timely and accurate nursing triage for patients presenting to Urgent Care.
n
- Assess patient needs and prioritise care appropriately.
n
- Recognise clinical deterioration and expedite patients when required.
n
- Provide high-quality nursing and procedural care.
n
- Perform wound care and plastering and assist with clinical procedures.
n
- Work collaboratively with Medical Practitioners and the wider clinical team.
n
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred care to patients, families and carers.
n
- Provide appropriate health education and information to patients.
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
n
- Work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
n
- Contribute to workplace health and safety initiatives and promptly report incidents and hazards.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in one or more of the following:n n
- Emergency Department nursing
n
- Nursing triage
n
- ICU/CCU nursing
n
- Rural or remote nursing
n
n
- Demonstrated ability to recognise patient deterioration and elevate appropriately.
n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail.
n
- Ability to work autonomously and delegate appropriately.
n
- A genuine commitment to patient-centred care.
n
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
n
n
Previous triage, Emergency Department or rural/remote nursing experience will be highly regarded.
n
Successful applicants will be required to provide a Working with Children Check and, where applicable, National Police and International Police Checks.
