The Livestock Supervisor will coordinate and supervise livestock receival, handling, animal welfare, traceability and livestock yard operations. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, market, and company requirements while maintaining the highest standards of livestock welfare and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise livestock receival and handling activities across the site.
- Coordinate livestock movements through holding yards and processing operations.
- Ensure livestock identification, traceability and stock correlation are maintained at all times.




- Monitor and uphold animal welfare standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with AQIS Official Veterinarians and relevant authorities regarding animal welfare matters.
- Ensure accurate livestock documentation, records and compliance reporting.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and market compliance programs.
- Monitor yard conditions, identify maintenance requirements and support a safe working environment.
- Support audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with operations, quality, compliance and management teams to achieve site objectives.

What you will bring to the table:

- Demonstrated livestock handling knowledge and practical experience.
- Experience within the beef, sheep or broader meat processing industry is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of animal welfare and livestock traceability requirements.
- Knowledge of export market programs and regulatory compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- A commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.
