National Transport Company are looking for Diesel Mechanic Apprentices to join our team.Second- & third-year apprentices encouraged to apply

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of diesel mechanics are responsible for the professional maintenance and repairs of truck and tanker fleet.

n

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

n

n
- Assisting with repairs, servicing and testing to company vehicles, trailers and equipment as per company service schedule
n
- Assist with diagnostic and preventative maintenance and initiatives.
n
- Attending TAFE and complete studies each month.
n
- Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy.
n

n

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience.

- Reliable with a valuable work ethic.
n
- Motivated and team orientated
n
- Medically fit and prepared to Undertake a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol screening.
n
- Previous mechanical experience preferred.
n
