About the role

n

You will be responsible for the installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment in industrial facilities.

n

There are a number of roles available for a pump station construction project and potentially other locations in the future.

n

About you, as a minimum

n

n
- The successful candidate will have a trade qualification (A grade electrical) with proven experience working as a member of a construction, operations or maintenance team in the water industry, chemical plant, refinery, gas transmission or gas processing industry.
n
- Proven experience in electrical installation works within a heavy industry environment such as mining or power and energy
n
- Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform installation tasks
n
- Able to work effectively both autonomously and within a team of different trades,



with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
- 5 years experience in a relevant or equivalent role, with experience in a similar industrial plants preferred
n
- Requires detailed knowledge of tasks related to the installation or maintenance of industrial processing equipment
n
- Instrumentation controls and operations exposure would be an advantage
n
- Experience with electrical motor control systems, variable speed drives, and high voltage assets
n
- LVR/CPR Certificate
n
- Construction industry White Card
n
- Working at heights (within 3 years)
n
- Proof of right to work in Australia
n
- Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety workplace and culture
n
- Fluent in written and verbal English
n
- Pass a drug and alcohol test
n
