About the role

n

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pick Packers to join the Morcofresh team on a casual basis. This is a hands‐on position in our fast‐paced logistics and distribution centre located in Lidcombe, NSW 2141. As a Pick Packer, you will be integral to ensuring our products are accurately selected, packed and prepared for dispatch to our customers.

This role offers multiple shift times to suit different availability, with the following options available:

- 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
n
- 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
n

This flexibility makes the role ideal for those seeking casual work with a choice of shift times. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment where efficiency, accuracy and teamwork are paramount.

What you'll be doing

n

Accurately picking products from shelving and storage areas according to order specifications and warehouse management system instructions

n

Carefully packing items into boxes, cartons or containers, ensuring products are secure and protected during transit

n

Applying labels,



barcodes and shipping information to packed items in a timely and accurate manner

n

Maintaining accurate records of picked and packed items using warehouse management systems

n

Inspecting items for quality and ensuring they meet company standards before packing

n

Operating material handling equipment such as trolleys and pallet jacks as required

n

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations

n

Meeting daily productivity targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy

n

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues or discrepancies

n

Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when needed

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience working as a Pick Packer, warehouse operative or similar role in a fast‐paced distribution environment

n

Strong attention to detail with the ability to pick and pack items accurately and efficiently

n

Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift items regularly and stand for extended periods

n

Competency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy

n





Availability to work one or more of our available shifts: 4:00 am–12:00 pm, 12:00 pm–8:00 pm, or 4:00 pm–12:00 am

n

Ability to work flexibly across different days, including weekends where required

n

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet productivity targets

n

A safety‐conscious mindset with knowledge of workplace health and safety practices

n

Robust communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues

n

Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual shift work

n

A valid driver's licence is advantageous

n

Previous experience in the fresh produce or food logistics sector is preferred
