The Role
n
Reporting to the Payroll Manager,
you will be part of a team-oriented payroll team supporting the accurate and timely delivery of end‐to‐end fortnightly payroll for a large national workforce. You'll manage payroll reconciliations and remediation, maintain employee records and entitlements, interpret Awards and legislation, and respond to payroll queries across the business.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Process end‐to‐end payroll
n
- Manage payroll reconciliations and remediation activities
n
- Maintain employee records, leave balances and entitlements
n
- Interpret and apply relevant Awards and EBA's
n
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and policies
n
- Respond to internal and external payroll queries
n
- Work closely with HR, Finance and operational teams
n
- Support payroll process and system improvements
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- Previous experience processing high-volume end‐to‐end payroll
n
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Awards and compliance
n
- Strong payroll systems experience is essential
n
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
n
- Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
n
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‐paced environment
n
- A genuine passion for payroll and delivering a high level of service
n
- Collaborative and proactive approach
