Job Overview:

The Supermarket Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of an independent supermarket business. This dynamic position requires a hands‐on approach, combining strong leadership, business acumen, and customer service skills to drive growth, ensure operational excellence, and foster a positive shopping experience for customers

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations, sales monitoring, inventory control, and profit and loss.

- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to maintain a positive work environment.

- Uphold high service standards and cultivate customer relationships.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

- Proven retail management experience.

- Robust leadership and communication skills.
n
- Financial acumen, including profit and loss management.

- Inventory control experience.
n
- Computer literacy for inventory management and reporting.

- Experience with fresh produce management.
