About the Role We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team. You will enjoy a consistent 7/7 roster, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a well-equipped, safety-focused environment.

- Roster: 7/7 rotating day and night shifts (12 hours per day)
n
- FIFO: Flights provided from Cairns and Brisbane
n
- DIDO: Local candidates within 4 hours may DIDO using their own transport
n
- Competitive rates + weekly pay
n
- Superannuation paid on all hours worked
n
- Accommodation and meals provided
n
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Employment Type: Casual (12 months) with high potential for ongoing work
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Work on Electric Haul Trucks (930e-2), Dozers (D10 & D11), Graders (16, 18 & 24)
n
- Field service experience on Diggers, Drills, Rope Shovels, and Draglines
n
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile equipment to OEM standards
n
- Assemble, fit, and install various components and equipment
n
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
n
- Perform planned and breakdown maintenance in the workshop or field environments
n
- Work independently while representing Wisely professionally and with a safety-first mindset
n
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation for all work performed
n

Requirements

n

n
- Trade Qualification – Cert III Engineering (Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Fitters, HV / Auto Electricians, Mechanical trades & Diesel Fitters)
n
- Demonstrated post-trade mechanical fitting experience
n
- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
n




- Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
