We're seeking a friendly, organised and professional Receptionistto be the first point of contact for our village. In this rewarding role, you'll support residents, visitors and staff while helping keep daily operations running smoothly.
n
Alongside reception and administration duties, you may occasionally assist with emergency response activities following appropriate training.
n
About the Role
n
n
- Welcome residents, visitors, contractors and prospective residents
n
- Manage calls, enquiries and reception activities
n
- Provide administrative support to the Village Management team
n
- Maintain records, databases and filing systems
n
- Prepare and distribute resident communications and event calendars
n
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors
n
- Manage mail, office supplies and general administration
n
- Assist with resident enquiries in a professional and caring manner
n
- Support emergency response activities when required and within your training
n
n
About You
n
You'll be a people‐focused skilled who enjoys building relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
- Previous reception, administration or customer service experience
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
n
- Sound Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
n
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner
n
- Solid attention to detail and confidentiality
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A caring and empathetic approach to supporting older Australians
n
n
Experience in retirement living, aged care, healthcare or hospitality will be highly regarded.
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Ability to maintain competency using a defibrillator (training provided if required)
n
- Ability to complete the Code of Conduct for Aged Care requirements
n
- Willingness to participate in emergency response training
n
