Join P1 Technology as a Level 2 IT Engineer, take ownership of more challenging technical issues and work towards Level 3 with practical experience, coaching and support.

You’ll work with good people, modern technology and clients who value clear, reliable support.

The opportunity

You’ll take escalations from Level 1 and handle more complex issues through to resolution. This is primarily a Level 2 role, but as we know, technology scales and small teams all pitch in where needed.

At times, you may be helping with Level 1–2 work, while also being given the opportunity to stretch yourself into Level 3 tasks over time with support, coaching and practical experience. You’ll help keep our clients’ Microsoft 365, endpoint, identity, network and security environments running smoothly. When deeper technical input is needed, you’ll escalated to Level 3 with clear diagnostics and useful documentation.

What you’ll do

- Own L1-2 service desk requests, from diagnosis through to resolution
- Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and endpoints
- Troubleshoot networking, servers, backups and connectivity
- Triage day-to-day security alerts
- Keep clients updated in clear, plain language
- Maintain accurate ticket notes and technical documentation
- Identify recurring issues and help improve how we solve them

What we’re looking for

- 2 to 4 years’ experience in IT support or MSP service delivery
- Solid Microsoft 365, endpoint,



identity and networking skills
- A structured approach to troubleshooting
- Clear, friendly communication with non-technical people
- Strong ownership and documentation habits
- A team-first attitude and genuine desire to grow towards Level 3

Microsoft, networking or security certifications are valued, but not essential.

Location and flexibility

The role is based at our Dandenong South office, with a minimum of three days per week on site. Onboarding is office-based.

You’ll need a full driver’s licence, and the right to work in Australia. A National Police Check is also required.

Salary: $70 -$85 depending on skills and experience

Plus, Car or Car allowance and necessary tech tools.
