WHPH OT & Wellbeing is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience and a genuine interest in one or more of the following areas:

This role provides the opportunity to work across clinic, home, community and telehealth settings, supporting NDIS participants to achieve meaningful goals and improve participation in everyday life.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with participants, families, support networks and other professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy services. Therapists will have the opportunity to shape their caseload based on their interests, experience and professional goals, while contributing to the ongoing development of a growing and values-driven practice.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

n

n
- Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments to identify strengths, support needs and barriers to occupational participation.
n
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to participant goals and needs.
n
- Complete Functional Capacity Assessments and other specialised assessments as required.
n
- Prepare high-quality reports to support NDIS funding applications, reviews and recommendations.
n
- Support participants to develop skills related to independence, self-care, community participation, emotional regulation and wellbeing.
n
- Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals with psychosocial, intellectual and developmental disabilities.
n
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services in clinic, home, school, community and telehealth settings as appropriate.
n
- Facilitate individual and group-based programs where opportunities arise.
n




- Liaise and collaborate with families, support coordinators, schools, healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
n
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and innovation within the organisation.
n
- Provide support and mentoring to less experienced therapists where appropriate.
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
n
- Current AHPRA Registration.
n
- National Police Check.
n
- Working with Children Check.
n
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
n
- Laptop and mobile phone.
n
- Experience working with paediatric, psychosocial, intellectual and/or developmental disability clients.
n
