The Role

n

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our small/busy and experienced Finance team. This role will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the day-to-day accounting functions, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (A/P) and assisting with Accounts Receivable (A/R). The successful candidate will also support a range of general accounting duties to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage end-to-end A/P including invoice processing, supplier payments, and reconciliations
n
- Assisting with A/R processes including customer invoicing, payment allocation, and debt collection follow-up from time to time
n
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
n
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
n
- Support preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits
n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
n
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries
n




- Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as required
n

About You

n

Minimum 5 years' experience in a medium to large business accounting or finance role (A/P and A/R experience essential)

n

Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not essential if experience is strong)

n

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel

n

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

n

Excellent time management and organisational skills

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

n
