Parcsafe Field Service / Security Technician

n

You'll be the face of Parcsafe on-site — installing, servicing, and troubleshooting parking and access control equipment across a range of commercial, residential and industrial locations in and around Brisbane & SE QLD. Additional travel required occasionally across QLD and Australia. This is a varied, autonomous role for someone who enjoys solving problems in the field and takes pride in getting the job done right the first time.

Key responsibilities

- Install, maintain and repair boom gates, traffic signal system, carpark management system, car counting and license plate camera systems
n
- Carry out scheduled maintenance visits and respond to reactive service callouts
n
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out repairs on-site
n
- Complete accurate job reports, service records and compliance documentation
n
- Liaise directly with clients and site contacts in a professional, solutions-focused manner
n
- Work safely and independently, following WHS procedures at all times
n
- Manage your vehicle stock, tools and parts to keep jobs running efficiently
n

What we are looking for





n

n
- Trade qualification preferred in electrical, mechanical, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
n
- Experience with access control, boom gates, automated gates, or similar equipment highly regarded
n
- Solid fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
n
- A current driver's license and a clean driving record,
n
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all conditions
n
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
n
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
n
- White Card (construction induction) and EWP preferred but not essential
n
