Border Switchboards is a locally owned and operated Switchboard Manufacturing Company located in Albury, NSW.

We have a current vacancy for a qualified Electrician and a 2nd or 3rd year Electrical apprentice to join our team.

n

The role:

n

n
- Assembly and installation of switchgear, wiring and busbar to electrical switchboards, control panels and meter boards
n
- Fabrication of copper busbar
n




- Monday to Friday – with overtime available
n
- Fast paced working workplace
n

n

The person:

n

n
- Ability to follow instructions
n
- Ability to work well in a team
n
- Knowledge of or experience in electrical switchboards
n
- Knowledge of control wiring beneficial but not essential
n
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
n
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work to deadlines
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings and instructions.
n
- Hard working and reliable
n
- Transport to and from work
n
- Ability to work overtime when required
