Programmed Skilled Workforce is currently seeking applications from highly motivated and committed candidates looking to commence a career in the coal mining industry. Working with our client Whitehaven Coal, successful candidates will carry out their traineeship working at the Maules Creek mine site.

- Full time permanent role

- Obtain a Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations
n
- $39.97 flat rate for all rostered hours
n
- $5 per hour market based allowance
n
- $5 per hour retention allowance
n

About the Role:

n

Kick start your career in the mining industry by completing a Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations as a trainee Dump Truck Operator, which is a nationally recognised qualification.

n

n
- You will be required to work 12.5hr rotating roster, consisting of day and night shifts
n
- Bus transport to and from the mine site from local towns in the region
n

n

To be considered for this traineeship, you must:

n

n
- Have absolute commitment to participating in training as well as the term of the traineeship
n
- Hold a high regard for safety by following safe working practices
n




- Have an ability to work in a team environment with a positive, can-do attitude
n
- Hold a current, minimum P2 drivers' licence
n
- Supply 2-3 work related referees in a supervisory role
n
- Be able to pass a pre-employment NSW Order 45 medical and drug & alcohol test
n
- Be available to attend our Gunnedah office for required interviews throughout the recruitment process
n

You will be asked to provide an RMS driving record for consideration if you are invited for an interview as well as complete a criminal history check.
