About the Day Infusion Unit
n
Our Day Infusion Unit provides chemotherapy and intravenous infusions for patients with cancer and other chronic conditions. The unit is known for its expert clinical care, compassionate nursing, and a strong focus on guiding patients through their treatment journey with dignity and respect.
n
The unit is expanding, and we're inviting enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join a team that's recognised for its clinical capability, collaborative culture, and unwavering commitment to patient experience.

You'll be supported by our Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and a team of highly skilled and specialised Registered Nurses,
who will provide clinical transition support and mentorship to help you thrive in the role.

About the Role
n
We're seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care in an outpatient setting. Experience in a day infusion unit is ideal, but we're open to training the right candidate who is eager to grow in this specialty.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
n
- Perform IV cannulation and manage central venous access devices (CVADs)
n
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
n
- Educate and support patients throughout their treatment
n
- Maintain a strong focus on patient and staff safety
n
n
What You'll Bring
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Commitment to quality patient care
n
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team
n
- High level of computer literacy
n
- Valid Working with Children Check
n
- Experience with management of Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs)
n
- Competency in IV cannulation
n
- Skills and experience in anti-neoplastic medication management
n

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $39.09-$54.89per hour.
n
Important information:Appointment is subject to a current National Police Check (issued within 3 months), Working with Children Check, evidence of right to work in Australia, and proof of immunisation as required for Category A Healthcare Workers.
