Role: Senior Network Security Engineer

Experience: 8+ Years

Role Purpose

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will provide expert knowledge across network security, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity. You will design, implement, and support secure network and infrastructure solutions, identify security risks, and provide technical guidance to engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as an SME and design authority for end-to-end network and security solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable platform designs.
- Design, implement, integrate, and troubleshoot network security solutions.
- Manage technical stakeholders and vendors and support technology delivery.
- Identify risks, recommend mitigations, and manage remediation activities.
- Support capacity, performance, availability, lifecycle, and cost optimization.




- Maintain technical standards, documentation, and governance processes.
- Handle incidents and problems, perform root-cause analysis, implement permanent fixes, and participate in on-call support.
- Stay updated on emerging network, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies.

- Netskope, ZTNA, Illumio, Micro-Segmentation, Firewalls, Routing, Switching, IPS/IDS.
- Security protocols: IP, TCP, UDP, IPsec, SSL, HTTP/S, FTP, SSH.
- BGP, VR/VRFs, VLANs, MPLS, VPLS.
- SDN / NFV concepts.
- Cloud Security across Azure, GCP, and AWS.
- VMware and virtualization technologies.
- VMware: vCloud, vSphere, vCenter, vRealize Operations, Horizon View, vSAN, NSX.
- Data centre standards, architecture, integration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and backup.
- Experience creating platform, requirements, solution architecture, support, and technical standards documentation.
- Knowledge of change management, governance, incident management, problem management, and on-call support.
