Agfa Radiology Solutions has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, customer-focused Application Specialist to join our Professional Services team.

n

As an integral member of the Professional Service team, your role will be to provide training, education and applications support service and expertise for a range of Agfa Radiology Solutions products & solutions in order to meet customer and business requirements. Products include general X-ray, fluoroscopy, U-arm, mobile systems, retrofit systems and DR detectors, as well as CR systems and medical film printing solutions.

This position is preferably based in Sydney, although candidates based in Melbourne and Brisbane will also be considered.

n

Reporting to the National Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Participating in in office product installations working closely with the Service team, including the provision of training of customers in the use and maintenance of new equipment.
n
- Analysing customer-specific clinical structure and processes and consult the customer on best fitting processes and solution usage.
n
- Providing presales Application Support through demonstrations and presentations to customers and business groups.
n
- Attending & developing training courses and workshops to maintain high levels of product knowledge on primary and secondary specialisations.
n




- Supporting the Sales team with product demonstrations and tender preparation.
n
- Providing post-sales Application Support including site response or telephone/remote support to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
n

This role will require:

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Medical Radiography and/or Information Systems
n
- At least 1-2 years solid experience in clinical radiology environment
n
- Experience in a healthcare modality applications support role is highly desirable.
n
- DR experience (preferably on Agfa products) as well as Network Skills will be highly regarded.
n
- Continuous learning orientation, keeping abreast of new and emerging technologies & markets.
n
- Well-developed analytical, diagnostics and problem resolution skills.
n
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to gain respect through credibility, reputation, and technical expertise and,
n
- Ability to travel as required, both interstate and on occasions, overseas.
n
