As part of St Albans Hospitality, you'll be joining a collection of Brisbane's leading hospitality venues, including Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster and Sunshine. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Head Waiter to join our team. This is a casual position offering consistent hours, with the opportunity for a full-time position for the right person.

Your Role

n

As Head Waiter, you'll lead service from the floor, setting the standard for exceptional hospitality while supporting and mentoring the front-of-house team. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you'll help deliver seamless service, build a positive team culture and ensure every guest leaves with an outstanding experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Lead service each shift with confidence and professionalism.
n
- Mentor, coach and support junior team members.
n
- Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
n
- Maintain exceptional service standards and attention to detail.
n




- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
n
- Build robust product knowledge across our food, wine and beverage offerings.
n
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally.
n
- Lead by example, creating a positive and high-performing team environment.
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Section Waiter or Supervisor within a premium restaurant.
n
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
n
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire those around you.
n
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
n
- Excellent food, wine and beverage knowledge.
n
- A calm, professional approach in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Full working rights in Australia.
n
- A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
n
