Online 1v1 International Baccalaureate (IB) Year 10 to 12 Tutors

About Us: We are an online-based tutoring company specializing in one-on-one personalized virtual teaching, with over 300 teachers registered. We provide personalized tutoring for international and local school students. We provide one-on-one teaching sessions to assist them with Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and exam preparation for IBDP; academic writing, school-aligned subject learning, school-based assessment preparation for MYP and PYP. We are now recruiting teachers for a wide range of IB programmes and subjects, including PYP, MYP, and DP levels.

Position: Online One-on-one IB Year 10 to 12 Tutors

n

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and highly experienced teachers to join us for the following IB subjects.

n

English A: Language and Literature

n

Mathematics:

n

Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches

n

Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation

n

PYP & MYP Maths

n

Sciences:

n

Physics

n

Biology

n

PYP & MYP Sciences

n

Responsibilities:

n

Provide one-on-one sessions to students.

n

Assist students with understanding subject material, homework and exam preparation.

n

Follow customized lesson plans to meet individual student needs.

n

Track and report student progress.

n

Offer motivational support and academic guidance.

n

We now also offer opportunities for in-person sessions at student homes or libraries.

n

Requirements:

n





Experience teaching IB students AND OR having previously completed the IBDP with a high score is essential.

n

Experience teaching IB at a local AND OR international school is highly advantageous.

n

Strong knowledge and expertise in the IB curriculum, including Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and exam preparation for IBDP.

n

Reliability with a consistent schedule and commitment to skilled teaching.

n

Stable Internet connection and great with technology.

n

Flexibility in hours, location and time commitment.

n

On-time payments from $35 to $50 per hour, commensurate with the following combined factors:

The number of years of teaching experience the teacher has had.

n

The teacher's expertise with IBDP final exams and internal assessments.

n

Range of subjects the teacher is confident and qualified to teach.

n

Friendly and disciplined students.

n

Ongoing support and training.

n

Valuable resume-building and teaching experience.

n

We match you with suitable students and take care of all the related hassle, so you can focus on what you're awesome at - teaching.

We provide tailored Learning Materials and Student Learning Plans.

n

Our Teaching Assistants manage lesson scheduling and parent communication for you.

n

Our Teaching Assistants can help with marking student homework with Answer keys.

n

Our Learning Coordinator communicates with parents about student progress and study plans.
