We're on the hunt for a Junior Payroll Officer with ambition to join our high-performing National Payroll team, supporting 25,000+ employees across Australia while gaining hands‐on experience with Workday, one of the world's leading payroll platforms. What You'll Be Doing

n

You'll be right in the action, learning end‐to‐end payroll in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment:

- Assist with weekly payroll processing (Workday Payroll)
n
- Maintain employee data — new starters, changes, terminations
n
- Work with Time & Attendance data (LIFELENZ)
n
- Get exposure to complex payroll calculations:
n
- Annual, personal, parental & long service leave
n
- Workers compensation
n
- Support month‐end and year‐end payroll activities
n
- Interpret Awards & EBAs (and actually understand them, not just tick boxes)
n
- Assist with reconciliations (super,



payroll tax, YTD)
n
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
n

n

What You Bring

n

n
- 1–3 years payroll experience (high‐volume is a bonus)
n
- Basic understanding of payroll legislation, tax, Awards/EBAs
n
- Strong attention to detail (you spot what others miss)
n
- Team player who can juggle priorities with the right attitude
n

Bonus Points If You Have

- Exposure to Workday or similar HRIS/payroll systems

- Payroll qualifications (Cert/Diploma)
