We're looking for an experienced Onsite 3DCP System Operator to run day-to-day printing operations on active construction sites in and around Brisbane. You'll be the hands-on expert responsible for setting up, calibrating, and operating our robotic 3D concrete printer, ensuring every print meets structural, quality, and safety standards. This is a rare opportunity to work at the leading edge of construction technology as X-Build scales from proven R&D; into commercial delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

- Hands-on experience operating 3D concrete printing (3DCP) systems, robotic construction equipment, or CNC/automated manufacturing machinery, ideally on live construction sites
- Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g. concreting, carpentry, building, or mechatronics/robotics) or equivalent practical experience
- Working knowledge of concrete materials, mix behaviour, and curing processes,



and the ability to identify and troubleshoot print defects or material inconsistencies in real time
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Relevant high-risk work licence(s) for plant/equipment operation (e.g. forklift, EWP) as required for the role
- Current driver's licence, with willingness to travel between sites across Queensland
- Comfortable working with robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, or industrial automation systems, and confident reading technical/CAD drawings to guide print setup
- Robust attention to detail and a safety-first mindset when operating heavy, automated machinery on active construction sites
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage day-to-day print operations, and liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and trades
