Job Description

This role involves delivering high-quality internal and external plastering finishes across

n

residential, commercial, and multi-storey construction projects

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare substrates including blockwork, concrete, blueboard, foam, and masonry surfaces
n
- Apply solid plaster/render systems including base coats, reinforcing, and finish coats
n
- Install beads, trims, expansion joints, and movement joints accurately
n
- Apply various finishes such as smooth set, textured finishes, fine coat, acrylic, cement render, and specialty finishes where required
n
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and scope of works
n
- Ensure work complies with Australian Standards, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards
n
- Maintain clean, protected, and organised work areas at all times
n
- Use tools, machinery, and equipment safely and correctly
n
- Identify and report substrate issues, defects, or variations prior to application
n
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, site managers, and other trades
n




- Meet productivity targets while maintaining a high standard of finish
n
- Adhere to all WHS (Work Health & Safety) requirements and site-specific safety plans
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Solid Plasterer (or relevant trade experience)
n
- Strong understanding of solid plastering systems and materials
n
- Ability to deliver high-quality finishes with attention to detail
n
- Experience on residential and commercial construction sites
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Strong time management and reliability
n
- White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
n
- Trade qualification in Solid Plastering (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
n

Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to:

- Perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
n
- Work at heights and on scaffolding where required
n
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
