Are you a driven internal audit professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Internal Auditor to join a high-performing team, in a this prominent State Government Agency, executing across a diverse portfolio and interesting audits.
n In this position, you'll be at the forefront of delivering risk-based operational, compliance, and internal audits, with opportunities to get involved with IT Audits and emerging risk work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute and deliver end-to-end internal audits across a range of business areas.
n
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across diverse entities.
n
- Collaborate with a supportive, inclusive, and culturally diverse team.
n
- Work flexibly in a hybrid mode with the ability to manage your own time and workload.
n
- This is a hands-on position, with a firm opportunity for future growth to more senior positions.

About You:

n

n
- Qualified or part-qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or other,



a degree-holder with 2+ years of internal audit experience (industry, government or chartered).
n
- Proven ability to lead internal audits end to end.
n
- Previous experience within external audit will be considered, however some Internal Audit or Risk Assurance experience is needed.
n
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Proactive, adaptable and a collaborative team player.
n
- Comfortable working independently and within team environments.
n
- Australian & NZ Citizenship is required.
n
- We do not need Baseline or NV1/2 clearance, as the client will apply for these.
n
