We're looking for a passionate and qualified Casual Swim Instructor – Babies and Toddlers Focus to join our Health Club team.

Location: TLC Health Club – Mordialloc

Availability: Casual – must have availability to work weekends

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Prepare and deliver engaging swim lessons primarily tailored to babies, toddlers, and their caregivers
n
- Support the development of water confidence, safety awareness, and early swimming skills in young children
n
- Contribute to lessons for older children and adult learners where required, helping swimmers continue to build skills and confidence
n
- Create a welcoming, calm, and positive learning environment for children, adults, and families
n
- Ensure teaching equipment and lane space are prepared, secure, and suitable for all class types, with a strong focus on infant and toddler programs
n
- Participate in team training and uphold duty of care, incident reporting, and mandatory reporting requirements
n

About You

n

n
- Passionate about helping babies and toddlers feel safe, confident, and happy in the water
n
- Experienced or confident in working with infants, toddlers, and their caregivers, with the ability to build trust with families
n
- Able to adapt teaching style to support older children and adult learners when needed
n




- A calm, friendly, and professional communicator who creates a positive learning experience for a diverse range of swimmers
n
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and available to work weekends
n

Things that matter to us

- AUSTSWIM / Swim Australia Qualified Teacher (or equivalent)
n
- AUSTSWIM Babies and Toddlers Certification or equivalent highly regarded
n
- Experience teaching babies and toddlers strongly preferred, with the ability to also support older children and adults
n
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
n
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)
n
- 2026 Influenza vaccination
n
- National Crime Check Clearance
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
n
